Italian Meatballs


Meatballs are such an easy way to dress up your pasta dishes instead of just plain old ground meat.  A good meatball is a dense biteful of flavour and they only take a few extra minutes to create!


1 pound ground beef

1/4 cup dried parmesan cheese

1 egg

1/4 cup bread crumbs, seasoned

1 palmful dried oregano

1 palmful dried thyme

1 crushed bay leaf

1 palmful dried rosemary

1 tablespoon sea salt

1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper

  • In a large mixing bowl, dump all ingredients.
  • Using your hands, knead the mixture until thoroughly blended.
  • Roll into balls, roughly 1 to 1.5 inch diameter.
  • Place into a skillet and cook over medium heat until browned.
  • Lower heat and cover.
